Research/Emerging Areas

Overview

Port Jobs' unique mission provides an ideal environment in which to explore new and emerging trends, primarily within the transportation-to-work and apprenticeship fields, but also within the larger port-related economy.

Our research both responds to and serves community needs. We not only use what we learn to develop our own programs; we also provide analysis and recommendations for policymakers and other stakeholders throughout the Puget Sound region, and share our knowledge with local and national organizations for use in their own projects.
